Trumpet

Trumpet is a brass instrument whose sound is produced by lip vibration and whose pitch is commonly altered through valves and embouchure. In Mexican music it appears in mariachi, wind bands, orchestras, jazz, popular dance ensembles, and contemporary composition. Its musical role may include fanfares, sustained melodic lines, rhythmic accents, or improvisation.
