Mexican Rarities Radio is a 24/7 online radio station built from our growing music archive. The broadcast brings together music from the collection alongside curated programs, DJ sets, interviews, field recordings, archival material, and other sounds connected to our research and preservation work.

Our weekly schedule brings together continuous selections from the Mexican Rarities archive with special programs, curated sessions, interviews, guest mixes, and other broadcasts.

All times are Mexico City time. The schedule is continuously evolving as new recordings, programs, interviews, sets, and special broadcasts are added to the station.
A growing radio archive
Mexican Rarities Radio is an ongoing project. The music archive that feeds the station will continue to grow as we digitize and document new records, cassettes, CDs, tapes, field recordings, and other materials.
The schedule is alive too. New programs, interviews, guest sessions, special broadcasts, and archival selections will be added over time, so what you hear on the station will continue to evolve.
As new programs become available, we will feature them here and announce them through our social media channels.

Mexican Rarities is an independent archival and research project. Maintaining the radio is only one part of the work behind it: we continue to locate, acquire, preserve, catalog, digitize, research, and share recordings that might otherwise remain difficult to access—or disappear altogether.
