Zapatismo gathers musical materials associated with the movement led by Emiliano Zapata during the Mexican Revolution and with its later remembrance. Corridos, marches, songs, and staged representations may narrate historical episodes, honor figures, or reinterpret agrarian demands from different periods. Not every recording about Zapata dates from the Revolution itself. This category helps trace the circulation of those narratives across repertoires.
