Nayarit links coastal and mountain landscapes with musical traditions of Cora, Wixárika, and other regional communities. Ceremonial songs and festive music require attention to community contexts, while dance repertoires circulate through broader regional networks. The same instrumental label may refer to different practices depending on the locality. This category groups materials associated with Nayarit and supports exploration of those contrasts. When a recording documents a ceremony or an Indigenous repertoire, the community, occasion, and any stated conditions for circulation should be considered in its catalogue record.
