The Mexican Revolution generated songs, corridos, and musical memories of battles, displacement, and political figures. Not every revolutionary corrido was composed during the conflict: some versions were recorded or reinterpreted decades later. Military bands, regional ensembles, and popular singers circulated different accounts of the same events.
