UNDERSECRETARIAT OF POPULAR CULTURE AND AFTER-SCHOOL EDUCATION, P. E. S.

TRIBUTE TO LIC. BENITO JUAREZ ON THE CENTENARY OF HIS DEATH of him.

(1872 – 1972)

This record is one more in the series that, to commemorate the centenary of the death of the Benemérito de las Américas, is published by the Ministry of Public Education. In it, hymns and songs have been recorded in which the Homeland, the Heroes and the Ideals of the Mexicans are worshiped: FLAG, JUAREZ AND PEACE.

The masterful interpretation is in charge of the best choral group that has been organized to date in the country, the Coral de Maestros Cantores de México with the accompaniment of a magnificent symphonic band, the Band of the Secretary of the Navy.

We hope that this recording deserves your approval, and that it fulfills the task of enhancing national commemorations and celebrations.
